First up, (after she was sadly left grounded at the airport after weather woes and was unable to present at the last meetup) we do have “What happens in ad ops stays in ad ops”, from programmatic lead at Programmatic Media Pty, Nicola Helper. This presentation will highlight the glaring structural issues that commonly exist within programmatic businesses and teams. How can clients be so far removed from the ad operations team who are running their campaigns? How do IO’s continually get signed off that promise clients the impossible? And we wonder why programmatic gets a bad rap….
Our second speaker is former News Corp head of commercial innovations turned founder of tech consultancy Blonde3, Nic Hodges.
Hodges, who works with brands, publishers, agencies and startups, will present ‘Blockchains, bitcoins, tokens and media’ – a brief introduction to blockchains, how they apply to bitcoin and other crypto currencies and how they might just change the world of business (and media!).
Also, we’ll be covering off the big ad tech predictions for 2018 so please come armed with any 2018 ad tech predictions as you may well be asked to throw your hat in the ring!
