We hope you have Feb 8th in your calendar for the first Ad Tech Meetup of 2018. Not only is it a great time to swat up on learnings from awesome industry speakers, but it’s great occasion to network and catch-up with each other. The realities and challenges of being a woman in ad tech:
Women are the most efficient and effective leaders but why is there apparently so few in ad tech here in Australia? Country manager at ad tech company Index Exchange, Adele Wieser, will discuss this issue looking at the context of her career growth, what she’s had fight for it and questions if perceptions are reality? Topics covered also include senior leader position count within prominent ad tech companies in Australia, panel diversity and what working in this space Down Under actually means – as well as ways our industry can move forward. Wieser will also address career trajectory and the speed hump in most careers – babies – as well as the changing times of the parent landscape.
Next on the agenda In as slightly different format to our usual structure we’ll also have a brief panel session, moderated by Evgeny Popov. Panelists include Mondial Digital director Joanna Georges, Lotame SVP and GM data solutions at Lotame Jason Downie, and Impact Radius MD APAC, Adam Furness. There is a lot of confusion around third party data quality in the industry. The panel will debunk the quality framework around – provenance, labelling, efficacy and accuracy initiatives. Will deep dive on how brands approach data quality and formulate the assessment metrics. Lastly, we shall touch on General Data Protection Regulation and its impact across APAC.
